Weaverman writing new songs for second album

Yes ! we are busy writing new material for the second album. Nine songs are more or less ready for final recording, but that's not enough for a whole album. Titles are; piano stomp, ghost train, elbow grease, turn off the lights, don't break my heart..again, wrong turn, seven, break away and getting nowhere. We have some new cool gear in the studio that's giving us a lot of inspiration.
We'll keep you posted.....

Weaverman pictograph explained

The pictographs on the cover of the album and on soundcloud are all drawn by Brunette van Eijseldijk. Each song has it's own pictograph. We tried to catch the core of each song in a single picto. For example this picto for the song "that means U" a suitcase with hearts popping out.
The story behind this picto: I wrote the lyrics for this song years ago. The piece of paper I wrote it on was hiding in my suitcase wich I use for my drumsticks when on tour. One day I cleaned up my suitcase and found this lyrics sheet underneath a ton load of drumsticks, The melody of the original song I wrote suddenly came back to me. So we decided to record it. That means U is a love song...so that's why the hearts ended up in the suitcase. 
It's also a nice metaphor;  "always carry lots of love with you.... wherever you go"

New video: simple man

Yes !! We've announced it a couple of times, but it's finally here .... the new Weaverman video of the track Simple man. It's made by two 12 year old guys Max & Joep, it's a so called stop motion video !! they made lots of individual drawings.. and took more than 1.000 photo's to complete this 2 minute video. It really must have been a lot of work, but they did it !! THNX guys, we really love it. 
You really have to watch the video a couple of times to see all the hidden details.

Weaverman on Soundcloud

You can see we're busy at the Weaverman Headquarters.
Yeah we're up and running here in our own online mancave. 
People start listening Weaverman on Soundcloud. @ this moment between 40 and 50 plays each day. Most plays are from the Netherlands but Thailand and the USA are almost catching up.
It would be nice to receive some comments, you can add messages and likes on Soundcloud and follow Weaverman ! My cousin Nick in Lakeland Florida follows Weaverman on Soundcloud, the cool thing is that it generates messages on Facebook wich tell us that Nick is listening Weaverman.
He was diggin' Weaverman on his smartphone while @work.
